A Bit About Me

Hello. My Name is Sam I'm 27 years old. I've been doing photography for half my life. I recently stepped down from the job I've had for the last five years to do what I love full time. I specialize in Portrait and High School Senior photography and My favorite Nature Photography.

I'm super excited to see where God leads me in this and I can't wait to work with you!

Here are some often asked questions about Photography and some information about myself.

1. What is one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

How hard it is!

There is so much to know and I don't think I'll ever know everything, its always changing, new styles, old styles coming back, film photography, still photography, portrait photography, family, engagement, weddings, seniors, nature and so so much more. And.... THEY ARE ALL SO DIFFERENT.

Try everything and find what you love but don't offer everything choose your profession.

2. How do you get good at photography

If you have the eye for photography you won't have a problem.

You could know a ton about photography and be not so good at it. You could be good and know little. You will always be learning, Don't stop challenging yourself to grow and know more.

3. What gear do you use.

I use Canon. I found that canon is easier to use and has more options for accessories then some brands.

I have two Cameras. I always wanted a back up just in case anything happened.

My main Camera is R6

and my backup is 6D marl ii.

I have two lens's, 24-105mm

and a 50mm.

More about myself

I grew up in a Christian home with two great parents and two sisters. Just like everyone els we've had our issues but family is everything to me.

I got married back in August of 2019. we are going on our Fifth year of marriage and 8 years of dating.

we've had two Dogs. one named Albus that we sadly had to put down due to high anxiety that he was born with. Our baby girl is named Rory and she just turned one. she is the sweetest and I'd love for you to meet her.

we do not have any kids but we have 17 nieces and nephew and many close friends that have kids we also consider family as well.

I have been a youth leader in our church for Ten years now. It has not always been easy but I want to invest time in youth students to show them there are people out there that love and care for them and this is a safe place. I didn't have many people I could run to when in a dark place and I want to be that person for student.

My favorite Color is Green.

I love movies like Marvel, Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, all these nerdy ones.

And country Music is my Jam!

My favorite Foods are Steak and Mashed potatoes and of course corn because Im a born and raised Husker. GBR!

You've probably guest but if not I was born and raised in the middle of the US. The best of the mid west NEBRASKA!

We may say we are a football state but we all know we are best at Volleyball. #1 in the country! We also have the best Zoo and Ice cream. plus amazing Coffee shops.
